We are a 100% New Zealand, family-owned veterinary service run by a husband and wife team. Te Oru Mikaere is the vet and owner of Press Paws Mobile Veterinary Services.  The idea of a mobile veterinary service was born when Te Oru realised there was a need for a service that was less stressful on animals (and owners!) and has seen positive results so far. He has been qualified for over ten years, having worked part of that time in England, Scotland, and Wales. He also spent some time working in a mixed-practice clinic in Te Awamutu, and all over the Auckland region.

In his spare time he likes fishing, canoeing and spending time with his two young children. He is a big advocate for rescuing animals and as a result, currently has 4 rescue animals.

Debbie is the administrator and manages the social media accounts for the business. Whilst juggling a busy lifestyle around the children and administrative duties, she works part-time in ultrasound as a sonographer. She loves animals, travelling and spending time with her young and growing family.
